Banana Muffin Protein Balls

Banana Muffin Protein Balls with Roam Plant Protein 🤩🍌 no blender needed, with 11g protein per serve!

I’ve made a LOT of protein balls in my time, and this recipe might just be my favourite to date!

The combination of Roam Vanilla Protein with crunchy banana chips just remind me of banana cake batter 🙌🏼😮‍💨

I get asked a lot how to choose the right protein powder, so thought I’d share some reasons why Roam has my big tick of approval:

✅ It’s made from pea protein isolate, with 22g protein per serve, a complete protein and rich in BCAAs, especially leucine to support muscle protein synthesis.

✅ It has a GREAT taste and texture (obviously very important)

✅It’s soy, gluten and dairy free, plus low FODMAP so suitable for a range of dietary requirements and very well tolerated

✅It’s HASTA certified, so suitable for athletes competing in drug tested sports, and you know the quality is top!

Anyway, these protein balls are a must try. Lasted about 3 days 🙈

Recipe (makes 6-7):

  • 2 scoops (60g) Roam Vanilla Protein
  • 1/2 cup (60g) almond meal
  • 1/2 cup (60g) oat flour
  • 1 sachet Roam Coconut Energy Nut Butter
  • 1/3 cup (80g) maple or rice malt syrup
  • 1/4 cup plant milk of choice
  • A handful (about 30g) banana chips, crushed or chopped
  • Dash of vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Method:

1️⃣ Add all ingredients to a bowl, first dry, then wet. And mix well to combine into a dough. If too crumbly, add a dash more milk until the mix comes together!

2️⃣Roll into golf ball sized balls.

3️⃣Pop into the fridge for a few hours to firm up. Enjoy!!❤️‍🔥
